My opinion of Star Fox Zero continues to deteriorate the more I play it. After beating the game, I started looking for alternate paths to do the missions that I missed, and what I discovered disappointed me. Around half of the alternate missions are just rehashes of the main missions, and the rest are simple boss fights instead of full stages. Considering one of the main highlights of Star Fox 64 was the alternate paths and missions, this is a huge letdown. I still maintain that the main missions of Star Fox Zero are decent, but so little effort was put into the alternate ones that they shouldn't have even bothered.

Well, I finally played Star Fox Zero. It's as I feared: Star Fox Zero has a horrible control scheme. It's a shame, because the game itself is actually quite good, but the awful gyroscope controls make it hard to enjoy. I felt like I was playing with a handicap. The game also really killed my wrist, likely due to the controls being an awkward mess. I also played Star Fox Guard, which came with my copy of Star Fox Zero, but I found it boring and quit after only a few minutes. Anyway, Star Fox Zero is a good game ruined by bad controls.

Snowboard Kids 2 has been added to the review section. If you ask me, snowboarding beats waterboarding any day of the week.
