It's literally been over eight months since I last obtained a new game. I changed that recently, however, as I managed to acquire the PS3 version of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain ahead of its official release date. I got the game as far back as the 27th, but didn't play it until a day later. So far, I'm a few hours in, and it's pretty golly gosh darn good. The game is basically Peace Walker on steroids. Of course, there's a lot of stupid nonsense in the story; it wouldn't be a Hideo Kojima game otherwise. That is part of the charm, though. The missions are cool, but it's annoying how the credits are shown after every single one. Traveling between areas can also be irritating, because everything is so far apart, and sometimes the helicopter landing spots are a great distance away from your destination. However, I do like the sense of freedom the game gives you. I'll talk more about the game once I play more.
Another game has been added to the review section and this time it's Plok! Treat yourself to a treat.
Inspector Gadget has been added to the review section. I need Inspector Gadget to inspect some gadgets. This is another game I played as a kid and never got very far in. Naturally, I completed it during the review, so that's another chapter of my life coming to a close. Also, I used to watch the Inspector Gadget cartoon as a kid, but haven't seen it in ages. I wonder if anyone still remembers the good inspector.
Mega Man: The Wily Wars has been added to the review section. These wars are awfully wily.
QuackShot Starring Donald Duck has been added to the review section. What do you call a crate of ducks? A box of quackers.
Comix Zone has been added to the review section. I think the developers might have misspelled "comics" in their game's title. That was a joke, by the way. Anyway, I played this game as a kid and was never able to get past the first stage. Now, however, I beat the whole game for the review! My life is finally complete.
Pulseman has been added to the review section. Game Freak, the developer of Pokemon, collaborated with Sega to make this game. Coincidentally, another game made by the unlikely pair came out recently, this time involving an elephant named Tembo. So many coincidences!
Alien Soldier has been added to the review section.
Apparently, Windows 10 came out recently, but there hasn't even been a Windows 9 yet! It looks like Windows 7 ate 9. Joking aside, I'm really far behind, considering I'm still on Windows XP. Maybe XP stands for "10 Professional" and I never knew it.
