McDonald's Treasure Land Adventure has been added to the review section. I wrote seven reviews on the seventh month of the year. I'm the champion of small accomplishments.

A little while ago, I purchased the third DLC pack for Smash Bros. This is the least impressive one thus far, because it contains no new characters and merely consists of old stages from previous Smash games and additional costumes. Nintendo is really nickel-and-diming me here.

Contra Force has been added to the review section. So far, all the games I reviewed this month have two things in common: they start with the letter C and are made by Konami. What a strange coincidence.

Contra: Hard Corps has been added to the review section. This game is hardcore.

Castlevania Chronicles is the 222nd game added to the review section. That's one two too many.

Castlevania: Dracula X has been added to the review section.

Now for some sad news: president and CEO of Nintendo, Satoru Iwata, passed away on July 11. I've known about the guy since before he became Nintendo's president, back when he was a programmer at HAL Laboratory, through reading issues of Nintendo Power. I still remember being surprised when he was crowned president, because it seemed like such an unexpected thing at the time, for someone at his position to ascend to the top so quickly. Being that I've been playing HAL's games ever since I was a kid, Iwata's work has had a huge impact on my life. In more recent years, I enjoyed Iwata Asks, where Iwata interviewed game developers within Nintendo about the games they worked on. While I didn't know him personally, Iwata's death still affects me. I'll miss him.

Castlevania: Rondo of Blood has been added to the review section. What the heck is a rondo?

Castlevania: Bloodlines has been added to the review section. It feels good to review something other than Bomberman again.
