Bomberman '93 has been added to the review section. Have I reviewed 93 Bomberman games already?

I purchased the Mewtwo DLC for Smash Bros. just now. I doubt I'll be using him much, but I can't say no to extra characters... wait, haven't I already said something like this before? I also bought those stupid Mii costumes, because why not. Aside from DLC, I haven't bought any games this year. Let's see how long that'll last.

Every time I turn on my Wii U, I have to go through like two or three update screens, each one taking like five minutes or so. That's modern gaming in a nutshell, folks. Anyway, I downloaded and played the new Mario Kart 8 DLC. It was okay, but I didn't like the courses in this one as much as the previous one. I can't say no to extra courses, though. Well, I could, but I don't want to. Also, I found out that the 200cc free DLC has a catch; you need to unlock it first. I think I have to get gold on all cups in 150cc in order to do so, but I'm not sure. Either way, I think I'm going to pass on 200cc. 150cc is simply too hard for me, especially due to the blue shells. I just don't want to subject myself to that kind of torture anymore.

Bomberman II is the 200th game added to the review section. I can't believe I've written 200 of these things. It took me 10 years to write the first 50 reviews and I've essentially tripled that amount in under 3 years. Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I've been working pretty hard. You better appreciate the fruits of my labor.

Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters has been added to the review section. It's been almost three years since I reviewed the first Kid Icarus. I figured it's about time I reviewed the second one.

Nintendo held one of their "Nintendo Directs" yesterday, on April Fools no less. No, it wasn't an April Fools joke. The first thing they announced was that the Mewtwo DLC for Smash Bros. will be available on April 28 for $3.99; $4.99 if you want it on both the 3DS and Wii U. Club Nintendo members that registered both the 3DS and Wii U versions of Smash by March 31st will get the DLC for free on April 15th, however. Lucas is another DLC character coming this June, though a price wasn't specified. There will also be extra Mii Fighter costumes available on April 15 for 75 cents, or $1.15 for both the 3DS and Wii U versions of the game. The last bit of Smash news is that Nintendo opened a site where you can vote for more characters.

In non-Smash related news, the second set of Mario Kart 8 DLC will be released on April 23 for $7.99, along with a free, extra difficulty mode called 200cc. Release dates for various other games were also given. Mario Maker finally has a release date, and apparently, it's this September. Yoshi's Woolly World got a vague release date of "available this fall," whatever that means. Another game that's slated for "this fall" is Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer for the 3DS. The new Fire Emblem for 3DS has also been given the extremely ambiguous release of 2016. Other notable announcements include Nintendo 64 and Nintendo DS games being added to the Wii U's Virtual Console. There were even more announcements, but I don't feel like listing them all.
