I gave Xenoblade Chronicles another try, this time clocking in at 30 or 40 hours. My feelings toward the game haven't changed, so I think this is where I officially stop playing it. It's good timing, because I got Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. I've been enjoying it so far, but I don't like the Pokemon aspect that was introduced in the game. I don't get why so many Square Enix RPGs as of late have been into the whole Pokemon thing. Final Fantasy XIII-2 did it, and now I see it in Kingdom Hearts 3D, too. I try to ignore the Pokemon stuff and enjoy the game's finer points.
The review has been posted for Prinny 2: Dawn of Operation Panties, Dood! It's been a while since I've done a PSP game review. I predict it'll be a long while before I do another one.
I played around 10 hours of Xenoblade Chronicles for the Wii. It's pretty heavy on the grinding and side quests, kind of like an offline MMORPG. I don't have the patience for these types of games anymore, so I'm not sure if I'll be returning to Xenoblade Chronicles. I wouldn't say it's a bad game, though. We'll see whether or not I'll go back to this one.
I just got back from something that's known as the Nintendo Wii U Experience. I got to play a fair amount of Nintendo Wii U games at this event. I won't be able to say anything that hasn't already been said by other sources, though. The things shown at this event have already been shown elsewhere. I still had fun, so I didn't mind. I got to play New Super Mario Bros. U, Pikmin 3, Rayman Legends, and ZombiU. There were more games available to play at this event, like Nintendo Land, Ninja Gaiden 3, Batman: Arkham City, Game and Wario, and some other stuff. I avoided Ninja Gaiden and Batman because they're already out, and the whole point of this event is to play stuff that hasn't been released yet. The other stuff I didn't play were things like a WiiFit game, some game based around singing, a game about dancing, etc. I'm not sure what those games were called. The Wii U controller is lighter and more comfortable than I thought it would be, and the Pro controller is also comfortable. All in all, I had a good time.
