There are a few updates today, and also a few things that will make you angry.

Visual Boy Advance updated to version 1.7.1 today, so you can go download that right away. They fixed a lot of bugs in that version.

I finally got around to updating the MAME emulators on my site, so you can download those as well. I removed a few of the arcade emulators since they were basically all different versions of MAME. Now I just have the original version of MAME, and the best version of MAME. I doubt anyone will complain about that change.

I added a stupid SNES ROM; Aladdin. I know, I always said I hated Disney (really? I don't ever remember posting it on this site) and that they suck so I never play any of their games, watch any of their films or cartoons, etc. However, I rented this Aladdin game a long time ago when I actually liked Disney somewhat, and I've a soft spot for old games like these. In any case, the game is made by Capcom, and it's actually pretty good. Disney never makes their own games; they look for big time gaming companies and get them to do it. So yeah, it'll go up on this site.

Now for the horrible news that will make everyone angry. I removed the 32X and Game Gear ROMs. In addition to this, I removed the Sonic CD ISO. My site is still managing to waste huge amounts of bandwidth, even with the N64 and arcade ROMs gone. So I checked my stats and found out that some people actually downloaded a few Game Gear ROMs, and even the Sonic CD ISO. Since the Sonic CD ISO is insanely large, there's no question that I should remove it. The Game Gear ROMs section just isn't that great, and someone actually downloaded from there, so I suppose that should go, as well. No one downloads 32X ROMs, but since I'm removing everything, I might as well remove those too.

Now I'm left with the basic essentials; nothing more, nothing less. I can't possibly remove the SNES ROMs section, because that's the main section of my entire site. The Genesis section doesn't get many downloads, but what will an SNES site be without some Sega? Then there's the NES, of course; I need that. The only section left that I could remove is the Game Boy and Game Boy Color ones, but... I really need those as well. Let's hope the bandwidth situation improves, because I can't bear to remove any more ROMs.

One last thing: Metroid: Zero Mission is the second best Metroid game ever, right behind Super Metroid for SNES. Not only that, but as a GBA game, I'd say it's probably one of the best, up there with Metroid Fusion and Mario and Luigi. I truly enjoyed this one. Maybe I'll even make a review for it... quite possibly.

ROMs that I have removed (these are all porn slides made by hackers or something I think, so they suck):

Adult Manga
Adult Manga 2
Level 3 Show
Sexy HK Game Girls
Sexy HK Game Girls 2

Those are all removed, so you lost your chance to jerk off to them. Visual Boy Advance has updated to version 1.7.1 Beta, so be sure to download that. Now for ROMs added, which are all for the SNES:

Fatal Fury
Fatal Fury 2
Fatal Fury Special
Final Fight
Final Fight 2
Final Fight 3
Final Fight Guy
Out of This World

That's it for today. I know MAME updated, and that the version on this site is outdated, but I'll get to that later. I don't feel like doing it at the moment.

Seems I couldn't break my record... ah well.

As you may have already guessed, the site was down for the rest of last month and is now back up. You probably don't need to hear why this happened, as I'm pretty sure you all know by now. If, by chance, some of you are so idiotic that they need to hear it again, I'll explain it: my bandwidth exceeded the limit. When this happens, I have to wait until the next month for the bandwidth counter to reset. So today is "next month;" thus the counter is reset. Also you'll probably take note that I only updated twice last month. That certainly is a new record. Let's see if I can break that record this month!

Some emulator called MAME, I think, has updated. I am going to add a few ROMs, one being Samurai Shodown for SNES. I think that's it for the actual update; I can't remember too well. It's been so long that it is quite difficult for me to remember all the new things I had set up for the site. Hmm, sucks doesn't it? Ah well, not like anyone would care either way, as they're too busy wasting all my bandwidth on things like Adult Manga for SNES. I never would have expected anyone at all to download that. Instead, it's one of my top downloads. You think I don't know? I have a little program (came with the hosting) that tells me these things. I may delete or remove those ROMs actually. They're quite stupid, and probably not even real ROMs (!!!). If you want porn, search Google. One thing you probably didn't know is that the ROM titled "Level 3 Show" for SNES is another one of those porn slides. Since I'm taking all that stuff down eventually, you can take one last look.

Currently I've been playing a lot of GBA games: Fire Emblem, Sonic Battle, Sword of Mane, Mario and Luigi, etc. On the console side of things, I played Mega Man X 7, Kirby's Air Ride, Sonic Heroes, Mario Party 5, and probably some other ones I can't remember. Right now I am awaiting Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles and Metroid: Zero Mission. In the time being, I am finishing up Sword of Mana, which I'm almost done with. I've been tempted to play some old game for NES called River City Ransom. This game is good, and everyone should play it. That includes you. I have the ROM on this site, so I want you to download it. Then download FCE Ultra. Then play it. I command you to! The game is great. Beating the tar out of gangs in highschool with lead pipes and tires has never been so much fun.

I realize that I can actually write a review about a lot of the games I played, for example, this River City Ransom. However, I'm just not in the mood. Too bad, eh? Maybe I'll get around to it eventually. Hopefully this time my site can survive the entire month.
