I played Gun Man's Proof all day yesterday (well, sort of...) and all day today (again, sort of...). Anyway, I'm quite done with the game. I have all dungeons beaten, all moves gotten, surprisingly, all hearts (Zeal Coins) gotten, the final boss beaten... there might be a few treasure chests I missed, but they probably just contain money or items that are useless to me.
Now as for the game... it was good; entertaining, to say the least. It's rather short, but that's okay, I guess. The plot/story was quite original, even though there's barely any. And... it was just fun to play, which is the main thing that matters. So if you're bored, and you're hunting rare SNES ROMs that you haven't seen before, this might be one to check out. Don't expect it to last for a month or even a week, though.
As for the site... hmm, I can't really say what I'll do at the moment... I need some time to rest.
Some new ROMs have been added:
1) Zero Wing for the Sega Genesis.
2) Dragon View for the SNES.
3) Hagane for the SNES.
4) The King of Dragons for the SNES.
5) Knights of the Round for the SNES.
6) Super C for the NES.
Yep... all your base are belong to us! Main screen turn on!! For great justice!!! Heh, I seriously had no idea all that stuff came from that game. New ROMs are here, so go get them.
..........(wait for it).......... SURPRISE!!! I just added one 32X ROM (the best one, or more like, the only one that's any good) and the three 32X BIOS needed to play 32X ROMs!!! It took me a while to find the BIOS and ROM, but now they're here! By the way, if you're wondering, the 32X ROM I put up is Knuckles' Chaotix. That's it for the surprise.
I think the time for the surprise is near, but what do I know? Nothing, that is. Hmm... the next game that I will try to complete is Gun Man's Proof for the SNES. It seems like a very unique and original game (even though they stole just about every graphic from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past). At least its plot is quite original. It looks like good fun, too. I mean, that's what games are supposed to be about, right? Simple fun. Another plus point is that the game is extremely short for its type, which is sort of good at the moment.
Also, this may sound rather stupid, but I just added Super Mario World for the SNES. The reason why I didn't have it before was because I had Super Mario All Stars + Super Mario World. Just in case someone actually wants Super Mario World alone, I now have it. So go get it.
More ROMs have been added! A lot more! Here are the ROMs I added:
1) Castlevania for the NES.
2) Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse for the NES.
3) Contra for the NES.
4) Castlevania: Bloodlines for the Sega Genesis.
5) Comix Zone for the Sega Genesis.
6) Contra: Hard Corps for the Sega Genesis.
7) Crusader of Centy for the Sega Genesis.
Yep, them there is a lot of ROMs! I hope you enjoy them. Oh, and if you're wondering, no, this has nothing to do with that surprise I have in store for the site.
A few updates to the site were made between yesterday and today. Here are the updates in an organized fashion:
1) All the back and index buttons have been changed.
2) Three ROMs were added. The ROMs are:
A) Bionic Commando for the NES.
B) Ghouls 'N' Ghosts for the SNES.
C) Vectorman 2 for the Sega Genesis.
That's it for the moment.
I'm back to report my status in Skies of Arcadia Legends once again, and... the status is... DONE!!! Yep, I'm completely finished. I've done all the secrets in the game, all the dungeons, beat the final boss, didn't level to 99 but got darn close (around 74), maxed out my main character's strength with some stat boosting items (man, I LOVE that shop, selling stat boosting items and all), and... that's about it. There's nothing left to do. In short: I'm done. Now... I might do something with the site. Let's see... I've got many things that need to be done here. The image section is a mess, I've got that surprise I got to look into, and many more things. I don't know where I'll start. Hmm...
As you can clearly see, I haven't said anything for a while. The reason is, basically, that I was too busy. Too busy doing what, you ask? Doing what I do best; gaming. So I came back to report my status on Skies of Arcadia Legends, and I'm glad to say that I've found all the discoveries. Domingo didn't even stand a chance. Bwahahaha! This means that I'm nearly done with the game. All that's left is to do the final dungeon. I've just been leveling up and buying stat boosting items to max my characters out along the way. The time to finish this game is near.
I'm nearly done with Skies of Arcadia Legends. I've got almost everything done. I just need to find a few tidbits here and there, plus do the final place and fight the end boss. Once I'm done, I might do something with the site. Note: huge emphasis on might. I also might have a few things to say regarding the comic, which has nothing to do with that surprise. That really is it for now. Not much to say; just a lot to do.
You're probably wondering what I've been up to lately. So I'll just say what I've been doing (wait for it...): I've been playing Skies of Arcadia Legends. Heh, thought I was going to say something about that surprise, eh? Hehe. I do bring good news, though. I'm nearly done with the game. Done, as in, got all the secrets, as well. I just need to do a tiny bit of the plot, collect some items, and level up a lot, and... that's about it. Maybe then, I'll work on the site some more.
Hmm... I wonder how I will deal with this surprise that I got here... I need to think up of a plan on how to present it. Eh... Yeah, I've got nothing to say today. Yep, nothing at all. The only thing I can say is that I have nothing to say. Oh, wait, I think I can say something else, too. Of course, I'm leaving this for tomorrow, so I can make another pointless rant about the things that rotate faster than... it. What am I talking about, you ask? Nothing, really. Just trying to... ummm... do pointless stuff. Yeah, that's it.
I was too busy today; too busy to even play Skies of Arcadia Legends. That means I was really busy. Right, enough with those stupid annoying things. What things, you ask? These things, okay?! Anyway, I am now going to play that game... what was it? I think it was Skies of Arcadia Legends. Well, I'm off...
Today... I will update the site!!! Yes, it's a grand miracle! Anyway, let's just get right to the small update. Visual Boy Advance has been updated to version 1.4, which is obviously better than version 1.3.1. And so, I've taken care of this. Yay, that's the update. We're done.
I'm too busy playing Skies of Arcadia Legends. This game looks extremely long. I will probably be playing it for quite a while. So... there is no update today.
I am currently very busy. I don't have much time for the site. Oh, and remember; I still haven't forgotten about that surprise.
I'm going to... start a new game in Skies of Arcadia Legends to get those two darn discoveries that Domingo found before me... darn you, Domingo!!! Anyway, this means it'll take me a little longer to beat the game...
I'm very busy playing Skies of Arcadia Legends. Recently, some character named "Domingo" has been beating me to my discoveries... DARN YOU! DARN YOU TO HECK, DOMINGO!!! Oh well, I guess you can't get everything right off the bat.
I've been playing Skies of Arcadia Legends nonstop lately. It's a good game. Really, it is. Perhaps it's not the best, but I haven't spotted a good game in this day and age for quite some time. Of course, this means I won't work on the site for a long time once more. Not like that interests you in the least.
At the moment, I'm trying to finish one of the many games I have. This game is known as Skies of Arcadia Legends for the GameCube. Until that time, I probably won't do much with the site. Remember, I'm a gamer. I play games. It's what I do. Oh, and I still haven't forgotten about that... surprise.
It's a new month. That means I will have to update ye olde news archive, AKA, the Site History section.
